Indeed it does!
Yup. I find it odd, and slightly infuriating, when people only put in one or two word posts. Tell me what happened, and try to use multi-syllabic words while doing so.

While I'm on the subject, what on Earth happened to the English language? I know not everybody on this site has English as a primary language, but come on, people. You see those two buttons on your keyboard? One says "shift", it can help identify proper nouns and the beginning of a sentence. The other, Mr. Period, lets you know when to stop.

Sorry. Pet peeve of mine.
huked on foniks wurked four mi.
Good for you. If you need me, I'll be in the corner, weeping quietly.
most people don't care and never will, it's just something you have to deal with when on the internetz. It can be a lot worse than not using commas. In fact, some people will do it just because of the fact that they know it annoys you. I actually find it more annoying when people put a period after saying one or two words, but it doesn't really bother me.
I know. Most of the time I refrain from commenting, but I thought it should be out there at least once. It's a pet peeve of mine, and doesn't mean others have to conform. It's up to me to deal with my discomfort.

All I can say is, thank God for ranitidine.
You know, I think I've become desensitized to it. It used to really annoy me, but now I just shrug and move on. Of course, my horrible, horrible elitist snobbery shows itself in the fact that I usually don't read posts that are in the "wall o' text" format or are entirely in chatspeak.
@mykalgaidin Mr Period has long since been replaced by Mr LOL; you're supposed to end your sentences something like this:

last night i played a really funny game online lol
this morning i had leftover spaghetti for breakfast lol
today at work i was fired and when i got back home i wasn't paying attention parking my car, and killed my cat and her litter of kittens lol

I know in the past it meant "Laughing Out Loud", but just like the word "gay", apparently over time it evolved into something else.
@Retodon8 that's a great example lol

On a more serious note, I'm not too caring about people using proper English or grammar when casually chatting/posting on the internet. However, there is a readability standpoint that I highly advocate.

That is, break up your text in SOME way. Whether that be with capital letters, periods, line breaks, or heck...even LOL. It doesn't matter if it's the proper place to put a comma or new paragraph...as long as it's there and my eyes can easily navigate & follow what you're saying, I'm happy.
I agree with you there. Although I believe a vast majority of younger posters lack the necessary skills to even write a cohesive sentence. Some of the things I have seen on forums and the like, have just been... Well, I probably shouldn't get into the debate. Last time I made some teen cry. As said above, I agree. Please break up your "sentences" in some way... Its the intelligent thing to do; everyone is doing it! Conform! *Please* ;)
This is exactly why i submitted a request in the support section for on the fly user visibility blocking. Facebook has this and I essentially only see like 3 peoples updates in my timeline (i dont like most of my friends on facebook). I was watching last week and some kid was just posting on every update on how l33t he was and I just had to ignore the NOW timeline for an hour or so. Feel free to tell everyone how much you like it :)

This would also help keep track of subjects longer..as i feel that good discussion get started on here and then quickly get halted due to them falling of the visible timeline and being forgotten.
